The Chateau de Tuscany Homeowner Interview
Today, we wanted to feature one of our favorite homes to build to date, The Chateau de Tuscany! Not only was the design process a lot of fun but building alongside The Espinosa’s was a treat. We truly feel blessed with some of the best homeowners! The homebuilding process is full of exciting and emotional moments, and we are so grateful that we have homebuyers who turn into trusted friends along the way like these!
Although we worked with the Espinosa’s continuously throughout the homebuilding process, we followed up with them a few months after closing to check in and ask a few questions about their stunning new home!!
What are some of your favorite things about your new home?
Can I say everything?! I truly love every single detail of my home.
The first thing I LOVE about my new home is the family room. It is so open and has so many windows that let in so much natural light. The bricked walls are a plus too! My second favorite thing is my laundry room! It is the place that I spend the most time in (LOL)! Every detail in that room from the tile to the cabinet color is so fun yet soothing. My doggies love their house too! My third favorite thing is my primary bathroom. Every time I walk in, I feel like I have been whisked away to a luxurious resort! The CHANDELIER, tile, and tub are amazing. I also never thought I would be so excited about a closet! Another favorite ours is the patio! It looks so light and airy every time we walk out there. The Hale Navy ceiling and ice white marble flooring complement each other very well. I can’t wait for summer to arrive!
I almost forgot to mention our pantry/Butler’s Pantry wall!! Another one of our favorite details.
Best memory of building your new home?
I would have to say the best memory of building our new home has to be the design process! Picking out the different tiles was so much fun. The entire Magnolia Homes team was so much help. I had so many ideas and they just let me have fun with it! They were great to work with and always made me feel at ease when things got a little crazy!
Best memory since moving into your new home?
I would have to say that the best memory since moving in was having our children, grandchildren, and friends all over at Thanksgiving. It was all that I had imagined during the building process. I would picture our girls making new traditions in our new home and grandbabies running around the house while we sat around the fireplace in the living room taking it all in. It was perfect!!! Just how I had pictured it!!
Feature you get the most compliments on?
We get so many compliments on our lighting!! I do have to say it is pretty amazing. I sometimes walk into our house thinking is this really mine?!
Advice for those thinking of building or maybe already in the home building process?
If I had any advice for those building their home, it would be to make sure your own home is a reflection of you! Make it your own. Be honest and communicate effectively with your New Home Specialist about what you desire your home to be! Our New Home Specialist was amazing to work with during the early stages! She was so patient with us. We had quite a few modifications and questions and she was so knowledgeable. I have always heard horror stories while building a home. Our experience was the opposite! The Magnolia Homes team was wonderful to work with. They were all very helpful and we never felt alone throughout the building process.
We are so grateful for these homeowners and are wishing them nothing but many, many happy years in their Magnolia Home!
