Featured Home Highlight: The Sauvignon
Today, we’re taking time to highlight one of our most recently completed homes in Shepherd’s Creek: The Sauvignon, located on homesite 76.
Located on the corner homesite as you enter into our Final phase of Shepherd’s Creek, this home sits stately at the intersection of Bushchat and Bushwillow Lane. When we were planning out this community, we knew that the home that would be built on this site needed to be nothing short of magnificent. If you’ve ever spent any time in our Shepherd’s Creek community, you know that each home in this luxury community also falls into the category of striking and opulent. We were thrilled to work with Jeff Bramlett again to design a floor plan that would harmonize with the rich architecture found in this tree-lined community.
Seeing this home come to life feels a little bit like waking up on Christmas morning! Worth the wait, as the days leading up to the home being completed were full of excitement and anticipation. Everything we had dreamed of this home looking like from our expectations was exceeded! This home is chock full of impressive details throughout. We knew when choosing the design elements for the interior of The Sauvignon that they needed to be just as wow-worthy as the exterior of the home!
We decided to use natural wood-stained cabinets throughout the kitchen and primary bathroom, and bold tile throughout the home. With a grandiose two-story stairwell, we used gorgeous ornamental iron and lighting that complimented the lively elements in the family room and kitchen to tie the space together. We even went bold in our colors for the dining room and friend’s entry, painting the walls black.
When designing the family room and outdoor living, we wanted the fireplace stone to bring in a tone of warmth and comfort, which is why we chose an Arkansas Fieldstone fireplace both inside and outside. We wanted this home to be the perfect place for entertaining, so you will see there is the linear design in the butler’s pantries, wet bar, and scullery. Additionally, we wanted this home to be for those looking to relax and enjoy the comforts of their home. The playroom upstairs is open and the perfect space for a media area, game night, or study. Although this home incorporates a more courageous design palette, the classic Magnolia Homes warmth and elegance is still evident in each and every space in this home!
