Employee Spotlight: Libby Kilpatrick
A new month means a new Employee to Spotlight! This one was extra fun – we interviewed Libby Kilpatrick, who joined the Magnolia Homes Team last June! She has added SO much to our team in the mere year she’s been here. We think we just might keep her forever! Learn more about her here!

I am the Director of Contract to Closing!
How long have you been at Magnolia Homes?
1 whole year! Time flies when you’re having fun!
Favorite Part About Your Day-to-Day?
My favorite part is being surrounded by all my amazing co-workers and learning all the ins & outs of designing and building a home (also when Chick-fil-a or desserts just appear in the kitchen!) And of course, I think everyone’s favorite part of the day is seeing Gus!
Favorite Lunch Spot?
Skybox Grill. Their fries give me life!
Go-to Coffee Order?
Just boring black coffee but I jazz it up with all my collagen & mushroom supplements.
Hobbies Outside of Work?
Traveling, the beach, walking/hiking, yoga, pickleball, live music, true crime podcasts, spending time with friends & family (especially my adorable niece and future nephew)!
A Silly or Sweet Work Memory?
They know I am an armchair detective, moonlight as a P.I. and a true crime junkie, so for my birthday they decorated my office like a crime scene complete with evidence and crime scene tape.
If you were stranded on a deserted island and you were able to choose one coworker to be stranded with, who would you choose and why?
I have to pick the glue that holds us all together… HUNTER!! I’ll need food & shelter and obviously he knows how to build things. He hunts and I’m pretty sure knows how to cook/grill stuff (I’ll work on getting some Diet Mt. Dew air dropped to us). I’m also sneaking Gus onto the island, so I need him to help me build a little hut for him!
