Employee Spotlight: Kaitlyn McKay Stafford
Rounding out our Employee Spotlight Series (with only one special one to go after this!) with Kaitlyn McKay Stafford!! This segment has been such a fun feature to implement over the past two years, and we’ve loved getting to share more about our amazing team with you!!! Without further adieu, here is our November Employee Spotlight!
What is Your Role at MH?
I am the Marketing Manager & Design Center Coordinator! Also occasionally known as the Cruise Director or Catch Phrase Champion.
Length of time at MH?
I celebrated 4 sweet years in October!!
Favorite Part About your day-to-day?
So many favorites!!! Starting with being greeted by our Magnolia Mascot, Gus, each morning, working alongside some of the best people on the planet, meeting our precious homeowners, seeing a home be built from concept to the closing date, and so much more! I love getting to use both parts of my brain in my role – equal parts creative and organizational to help the betterment of the team!
Favorite Lunch Spot?
I am a sucker for Huey’s, El Po, Fuji Café, and Memphis Pizza Cafe. Even better when paired with great friends to enjoy it with!!! I also do love when the boys cookout for us. A delicacy!
Go-to Coffee Order?
I’m loyal to the good ole Folgers in the morning, but I LOVE an iced latte pick-me-up in the afternoon! Currently on an iced Vanilla Latte kick from Congregation Coffee. So good!!!
Hobbies Outside of Work?
I love to read, play with friends, spend time at church, cook, go to coffee shops, and play games! I love a nice long walk with an audiobook or podcast when the weather is good! I’m currently growing a little baby inside of me, so I have picked up napping as a new weekend hobby, as well!!
A Silly or Sweet Work Memory?
I could write a book on the sweet, silly, and absolutely wild memories I have here!!! I truly think some of my favorite moments have been when we’re all together as a team doing something fun! I do love scaring my coworkers by jumping out at them, though…
If you were stranded on a deserted island and you were able to choose one coworker to be stranded with, who would you choose and why?
If I were choosing a boy, I would pick Joey, but I am a girl’s girl true-and-true, so I would have to pick the Magnolia girl gang!!! I know this is technically more than one person, but we’re really like one entity! I would be so sad without them, and with the wide range of talents, information, and humor that they provide me with daily, I think we would make the best out of our time as island girls. My only ask – can Nuuly deliver to the island? We do need our island ‘fits!!!
I think we might need that coffee order send to the office, stat!! Great responses, Kaitlyn! We cannot wait for our final month of our Employee Spotlight next month! Stay tuned for a good one!
