Employee Spotlight: Gus Garner
We are rounding out the year AND our Employee Spotlight series today!!! This has been such a fun series to execute by sharing more about our wonderful team and we hope you’ve enjoyed reading it! We did save the very best for last…. today our Employee Spotlight will feature our very first non-human employee, Mr. Gus Garner!!!! He sure is the cutest and cuddliest employee we have on the payroll. Learn more about him!
What is Your Role?
I am currently employed as the Vice President of Napping and Emotional Support Pup! I take these titles very seriously!!!
How Long have you been on the MH team?
I joined the Magnolia Homes Team back in 2022!
Favorite Part About your day-to-day?
I love to dig in my coworker’s trash cans for paper, sprint down the hallway, receive belly rubs from my coworkers, fetch the mail for my coworker Katie, and get treats from my coworker Donna! Overall, I like to provide happiness to my pals!
Favorite Lunch Spot?
Libby’s trash can or whatever I can find on the kitchen table when no one is looking!!!
Go-to Coffee Order?
My parents don’t let me drink coffee because I’m already crazy enough!!!
Hobbies Outside of Work?
Duck hunting, playing with my brothers, swimming, and long walks with my dad!!!
Share A Silly or Sweet Work Memory!
I can always count on my pals to comfort me when there is a thunder storm coming… they like to hug me tight and wrap me in a blanket so I feel safe! I also loved the day I got to wear a hard hat on the jobsite!!! Paws crossed they let me become the world’s first canine builder when I’m up for promotion!!!
If you were stranded on a deserted island and you were able to choose one coworker to be stranded with, who would you choose and why?
I would choose my BFF Kaitlyn because we would have a lot of fun together!!!!!!!!
