Spring in Design!

We aren’t the first to tell you that there is so much beauty in nature!!! We’re often inspired by its shapes, colors, and rituals, especially in the form of blooming florals! As we’ve started to see the first blooms of the year begin, we’re reminded of how these whimsical designs can be perfectly incorporated to bring life and warmth into your home!

One of our favorite ways to incorporate these dainty designs: floral wallpaper! Floral patterns, like flowers themselves, can be so diverse and bring so much vibrancy to a room. We love using these in powder rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, or cozy reading nooks. Whether you gravitate towards soft neutrals or more ravishing blooms, this design application instantly adds depth, texture, and a touch of whimsy to your walls!

An awe-inspiring way to incorporate florals is in light fixtures! Like an art sculpture, these have the ability to bring an immense amount of majestic character into every space. You will see us use sconces with petal-like shapes, soft curved edges, and stems or branching arms that mimic nature. A chandelier with twisted metal pieces, layered glass petals, and even floral shades are great examples of how floral lighting can visually elevate your home!

While we rave over the warmer weather and new beginnings that this year brings, we’re also captivated by all the vivacious colors, including pastels. Pastel colors bring a light and bright feel that works beautifully across many design styles year round! Some of our favorites right now include buttery yellows, soft and sagey greens, airy blues, and rosey pinks. The butter yellow is warm and cheerful like sunflowers, buttercups, and daisies. The greens give calming and serene hints of fresh leaves and shady trees. The rose-tinted pinks are flirty and fun like fresh peonies! The blues bring tranquility and elegance reminiscent of the sunny blue skies and flourishing hydrangeas.

April showers bring May flowers?! More like flower tiles for your home's showers and other utility spaces! Etched, stamped, or printed tiles often feature delicate botanical details. Some tile collections even include cuts and shapes that mimic flower petals, creating stunning floors, backsplashes, or shower walls.
