Magnolia Homes Named a 2021 Aurora Award Golden Winner

Going for Gold at the Aurora Awards

This past June, we entered into the Aurora Awards presented by the Southeast Building Conference! A prestigious, annual design competition that has been well established for over forty years, the Aurora Awards feature 61 categories that encompass all facets of the residential, commercial, and remodeling industries! We faced tough competition from residential and commercial construction professionals from all over the southeast United States, and even from the Eastern Caribbean! 

When describing the judging process, the Aurora Awards Board described it as so, “Determined from a competitive field of nearly 300 entries, this year’s Silver, Grand, and Golden Aurora Award winners can be justly proud of their honors. They were determined only after careful consideration by an esteemed panel of judges. This year’s panel included some of the most creative and successful designers, planners, and builders in our industry.” 

After much anticipation, we are ecstatic to announce that we placed as the Golden Award Winner for the Best Model Home for our beautiful Shepherd’s Creek model, The Meiomi! In our application, we described the inspiration for this fantastic home, the building and design process, and ultimately what this home embodies and what we envision for the future homeowners.

Along with this accomplishment, we also received Silver Awards for our Communities Brochure, Interior Merchandising, and two other custom homes! We are so grateful for the opportunity to be considered for such prestigious awards. We congratulate all of the other amazing builders for giving us immense competition!
