A Fresh Look is Coming to the Design Center!
Exciting things are underway at our main office and Design Center in Collierville! As we enter our seventh year of helping our buyers design their dream homes in this space (and celebrate nearly 40 years of Magnolia Homes!!!) we knew it was the perfect time to refresh our Design Center and ensure it continues to reflect the timeless style, quality, and inspiration our buyers deserve! With several exciting events on the calendar this fall, we have a deadline in mind... so it's time to roll up our sleeves and get to work!!
Over the years, our Design Center has been the backdrop to some of our favorite moments!! We've collaborated with our homeowners here, watched Pinterest boards become reality, seen ideas begin to take shape, and where buyers watch their future homes come to life one selection at a time! Because this space is where so many meaningful decisions are made, we believe it should be just as thoughtfully designed as the homes we're building! While we have plenty of surprises in store, here are a few of the updates we're most excited to share!!!
Our beloved navy island has certainly served us well, but it's time for a fresh new look! The centerpiece of our kitchen will soon feature a beautifully stained white oak island with a soft dirty white glaze and decorative posts, creating a warm, inviting focal point. Above, a stunning cast stone vent hood will add timeless character, while updated countertops and backsplashes throughout the kitchen (and across the entire Design Center!) will showcase some of our newest favorite selections.
Lighting is another area receiving a major transformation. We're replacing more than 55 fixtures throughout the Design Center, many from our new partners at Visual Comfort and Generation Lighting. Buyers will also discover beautiful selections from trusted brands like Crystorama, Gabby, and Hinkley, offering a wide range of styles to inspire every design aesthetic!
Our trim displays are getting a refresh, too! From a rich new green finish on our bench-and-hooks display to vertical planking, cedar floating shelves, reeded detailing, and elevated trim profiles, these updates will better showcase the craftsmanship and custom touches available throughout a Magnolia home. We're also saying goodbye to our wooden barn doors and welcoming sleek iron doors that bring a timeless, architectural feel to the space!
Of course, no renovation would be complete without reimagining our bathroom displays. Both vignette bathrooms will receive beautiful Silestone and Dekton countertops, while our Gray Vignette Bathroom will feature a striking Dekton tub surround with decorative edging. In our Gold Vignette Bathroom, we've already begun installing stunning new tile throughout the floors and shower, including hand-selected tile sourced from Italy, along with refined new shower door hardware that proves even the smallest details can make a lasting impression!!!
Doesn’t this sound fun?! And this is only the beginning! There are countless finishing touches still to come, and we can't wait to reveal the completed transformation this fall.
