A Peek Inside the Georgian
In the world of homebuilding, you can never truly choose your favorite home! Each and every one is built just as unique as your fingerprint, ranging in a variety of different styles, features, and personalities. However, if we were to make a list of all the homes we’ve built and lives that have impacted our own over the past 37 years being in business, The Georgian and the precious family who inhabit it would have to be added to the list of homes that completely captivate us!
From its timeless elevation to its perfect location surrounded on two sides by peaceful Menagerie Farms, to the welcoming front porch: this home immediately gives you a serene and warm greeting.
Upon entering the home, you find the home saturated in intentional details. There aren’t enough words to describe the impact these timeless characteristics will have for years to come! Ceiling-to-floor shadowboxing lines the entry foyer. Gorgeous glass and iron doors make a sophisticated entrance into the color-drenched blue office space that originally housed the dedicated dining room. This is one of the reasons we loved working with these homeowners on this project – they knew exactly what would work best for their family and lifestyle, and we quickly joined them in creating a space that was their very own!
You will find the same rich hue of blue used in the office space is continuously found throughout the home, including the island, the breakfast room, the scullery, and the family room built-ins. We love the way the congruency of this color ties in each of the common areas! In the family room, you will see the windows above the built-ins offer a gorgeous view of the farm again, a daily reminder of their incredible location in Collierville.
We know this home will be the center of many memories for this family and their friends for years and years to come! You will see the childrens’ rooms reflect each of their individual personalities while remaining elegant in design. There is even a homework nook upstairs for them to have a dedicated space for working on assignments! Of course, no family home is complete without a sizable playroom. We know this will get plenty of use in the years to come!
One of our favorite designs of this home is that no matter where you’re at in this home, you have an incredible view from the window. Gorgeous, lush, views in the Summer or delicate, golden views in the Fall create the perfect scenic landscape! One of the best views is from the opulent primary bathroom – not only is the view of the primary bathroom jaw-dropping, but from it you get a fantastic view of the gorgeous backyard, pool, and farm.
Now for the grand finale: the outdoor living space! Although we have given you a peek of many show-stopping details in this home so far, this one just might be our favorite. Entry into the outdoor living is through a gorgeous glass wall of folding Nana Wall doors. The wood-burning fireplace is the focal point of this space, which will be such a treat for this family to use in the fall and winter! Additionally, the room can be completely enclosed with the use of motorized screens. Talk about an all-season space! The main event, though, has to be the gorgeous pool that overlooks the farm. We know this will be the sweetest summer adventure for this family!
